England Is The Last Place On Earth You’d Expect To See Rollin’ Coal

For as refined as people believe England to be, a lot of strange stuff happens at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

There are cars running uphill on two wheels. There are cars that go up backwards. And now you can add coal-rolling to the list.

The practice is frowned upon in the US but that didn’t stop Dmitry Sotnikov from pushing his mammoth Kamaz 4326 T4 up the Goodwood hill.

These trucks can top out at 20,000 pounds and this particular brute packs a 7.4-liter turbocharged engine.

This may be the only time you’ll ever see rollin’ coal at Goodwood, so make sure to enjoy it. We’re not so different, are we, England?

Will Goodwood start a new trend?
