General Motors Under Suspicion in Lawsuit of Deception on Diesel Truck Emissions

Just when the dust has begun to settle on the whole Volkswagen scandal about cheating on emissions tests, more of a storm is brewing in the auto industry that seems to be implying that the whole emissions cheating ordeal is coming back to life. It seems like the auto industry is one that repeatedly likes to shoot itself in the foot over and over again after bringing itself up out of various holes.

This time, General Motors is the one under suspicion in a recent lawsuit that has been filed that tells us that they have been using different methods in order to get through emissions testing when maybe the trucks in question might not necessarily be efficient enough to live up to the standards on their own.

Essentially, what’s being alleged is that computer software technology is being put into place in order to trick other computers into thinking that the vehicles in question are built up to government standards.
