What Happens When The 2017 VelociRaptor 600 Races A Stock Raptor?

The new Raptor is running the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, and you can’t strap the supercharger onto that. But Hennessey still squeezed 605 hp and wants to show you the difference between the stock truck and its new VelociRaptor with the drag race, of course.

While the conclusion of the 1/4 mile race is foregone, it is still fun to watch what happens. Right off a line, you can tell the tuned engine uses more boost to pull ahead. Check out the valve opening behind the grille.

We can’t see a finish line and no times were released, but Hennessey boasts its truck being eight lengths ahead. And why wouldn’t we believe them?
