What you’re about to see was once the world’s largest diesel engine. It is absolutely massive. Heck, it doesn’t even look like an actual engine. More like something just stored in a warehouse.
Anyway, this sucker was built in 1932 and carried the title of the biggest diesel for some 30 years. It produces a total of 22,500 horsepower (for real) and is actually comprised of eight cylinders.
