This Is Why You Don’t Mess With a Livestock Trucker

Having grown up in a family that was supported completely by the trucking industry, I know very well you often have to haul loads you don’t want. It’s just a part of the job, and it can lead to situations like this, where somebody who is trying to make a point is a little misguided in their method and ends up standing in the way of somebody who has nothing to do with what’s being protested.

The point of this article is this: protest all you want, but make sure your efforts aren’t misguided. This truck driver has nothing at all to do with the slaughterhouse he’s delivering to, so trying to stand in his way is not helping your cause in any way.

Let the man do his job and find a better way to drive your point home with those with whom your issue lies.
